“We're thrilled to return for season III of the European Masters of Poker ,” Christer Larsson, product director at Entraction, commented. “The numbers are growing steadily, offering bigger prize pools, and we seek out the best locations to offer a world class poker experience to the masses.”
Besides the addition of new levels, the 2011 edition of the European Masters of Poker brings a new leader board points system. Poker players who want to qualify for the €1,000 + €100 buy-in main event poker tournament that will take place in Gran Canaria can qualify through the satellites offered online.
The poker sites that are part of the Entraction network offer daily satellites with entries that start as low as 2€ or 200 VIP Points. The EMOP poker event gives recreational poker players the chance to play in an international tournament with inexpensive buy-ins.
In 2011, the European Masters of Poker will visit six cities in the continent, as it was announced this week. The preliminary schedule includes the stop in Gran Canaria, a free poker tournament in Portugal in March, a stop in Estonia in June, a stop in Dublin, Ireland in July, a poker event in Malta in September and a stop in Barcelona, Spain, in November.
